About Us

WaHoka!

The Broken Lance Native Nation of Irvine is part of a national program with roots dating back more than 80 years for dads with sons in the K thru grade 4 age range. We utilize a Native American theme to promote strong father-son relationships through shared, structured activities.  At the core of our program is the one-on-one parent-child interaction we enjoy while participating in campouts and activities that create a lifetime of great memories.

We meet just once a month for an hour or so where we share our experiences, talk about upcoming events, enjoy a snack, and help the kids with a craft project.  All of the activities and campouts are voluntary with no obligation – attend them all, or only the ones you want.

We are not affiliated with local churches.  We generally group our tribes around the various schools in Irvine – that way the kids are around familiar faces.
